Blender typography effect


This text was made in cinema 4d and photoshop, how can i make something similar with blender and photoshop?

First of all, is this to be animated? Because that looks like a frame of a video.
If it’s going to be animated you’ll want to do as much as you can using Blender’s compositing features.
If it’s a still then you can get away with doing more post-production in Photoshop, which I assume you are already familiar with so less learning curve.

When I look at this I see:
・ A rock texture that looks modeled, but could be a displacement map.
・ A dark mask around it shaping it into typography.
・ Particle effects which are animated - that is to say they have motion blur.
・ A glow effect.

I would start with Andrew Price’s tutorial on animating a logo. If you are a complete beginner with Blender it may be tough to follow, but watching it will at least give you an idea of what’s involved.
