Confused as to why they’re playing back the mocap data in 2.79?
The whole thing is pretty nuts, to be honest…
They probably made a video file to demonstrate a proof of concept, years ago, with Blender 2.79.
And then, years later, while production, they did not take time to record their screen and just reused the proof of concept video in this promotional clip.
Or they made their tools in 2.79 when it was stable release and just stick with it during the entirety of production that may have took years.
Since they become a crypto-currency-mining company they forgot about dealing with 3D graphics for good.
Is better to stick with legacy technology running on legacy hardware.
