Blender Video Sequencer 2.49 cutting off end of video strips

At first I was importing a few video strips and I noticed that they seemed to be missing something at the end.
when I looked into it, blender’s video sequence editor had cut off 1-4 seconds off of each video strip I had imported.

Is there any way to get blender to load the entire thing? The clips I have have absolutely no leeway time before they end.
I need an answer fast

takes deep breath… you have to match the frame erate of the source footage to the Blender project. If you shoot 30fps NTSC then thats what Blender should be set to. As a default it is PAL 25fps. The result is staggered duration of audio to video. You have to set it before importing footage.

The reason I am exasperated is the frequency of this complaint. It should be a sticky at the top of this sub forum! Any way I hope that is the solution, if not call again.

Your Deep Breathe is still well appreciated in 2018. I had the same problem and so far in my searching your answer is all that I could find.

And it worked perfectly.:slightly_smiling_face:
