Blender VSE Audio playing back slower than original file

Hi

A very frustrating problem. I have an animation with audio. Animation seems fine, but the music is playing back slower. It still matches the beats and cuts between clips, its just the outut is slowed down.

All clips are 24fps, VSE is set to 24fps. I’ve changed the Sample and Bit rate to the same as the audio file.

Sound effects don’t seem to be an issue, just music/audio.

Tried AV Sync, Tried Frame dropping.

At a loss. Thanks in advance.

Strange thing is.

I’ve opened the rendered video/sound MKV file and put it into ShotCut and it plays fine.

Put into Windows media, it plays fine.

VLC is where it slows down. Just added it to youtube and it seems fine too.
