The zoom level gets messed up by Fly Mode.
Blender’s zoom level keeps shifting randomly, forcing me to constantly reset the viewport with Numpad ., which is extremely inconvenient.
I just recently found out that the zoom increment per single mouse wheel scroll up will change arbitrarily after using Fly Mode.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open a 3D model.
- Press Numpad . to frame the selected object.
- Zoom out the viewport as far as you can .
- Use Fly Mode to move inward (simulate zooming in).
- Try to use the real zoom in function by scrolling the mouse wheel up once.
Expected Behavior
The viewport should zoom in and out smoothly as normal.
The viewport zoom level should remain consistent and keep the same value as after using Frame Selected.
Actual Behavior
The viewport zooms in excessively.
With just one single mouse wheel scroll up, the viewport camera cuts straight through the 3D model and shows nothing.
Question
Is there a way to keep the zoom level consistent?
Using Frame Selected moves the viewport camera, which is not what I want.
I only need the zoom level to stay stable without abrupt changes.
