I wanted my render for this week to be clean with soft lighting to capture the melancholy of a rainy day. The sketch book lies empty both as a sign of creative block while also representing the possibility of a fresh start.

Beautifully captured! A nice hot drink and a cute little house plant can thankfully cheer up any dark day. It hangs nicely between optimism and pessimism indeed with that notebook that could be trying to start something new despite of the literal grey outlook.
