Blenderkit list index out of range

Had this problem come up today when trying to bring models in from blenderkit, there are only a few this doesn’t happen with.

Any help would be appreciated

I’ve had the same problem for weeks, it just happened out of nowhere. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything and it still doesn’t work.

if i can fix it i will let you know

Hi there! I had the same problem you have. After a long time, I managed to solve it very easily. All I did was restore an older version of BlenderKit.

Go to Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → BlenderKit

Then on the Updater Settings, click on (Re)install addon version and select one of the previous versions. It will then ask you to restart Blender. After doing so, everything should be back to working order.

I don’t know if this is just for me, but I noticed that after reinstalling an older version, the little “lock” icons that were used to differentiate between free and premium assets have disappeared. So what I do now is just filter by “free first”, so at least I know that once I find the first premium one, every asset after it will be premium as well.

From what I could understand, the assets that failed to load and returned the error “list index out of range” were basically PREMIUM assets that I just couldn’t download because I have the free plan. This makes sense because by restoring to an older version you should be able to see all those who didn’t load were premium (even though they didn’t show up as so).

Yeah I noticed this last night as well, I’ll roll back my version as suggested. Thank you for the help
