Blending edges between two materials

Suggestions for making the design look more realistic, on the ball not just looking flat photo shopped?

You could use a texture painted mask and use a white to black feathering at the edges to smooth out the transition and adjust a color ramp node to your liking. Also is the image actually shaped to the ball or is it indeed flat? If it is shaped with the ball then something as simple as lighting locations could help improve the look.

Thanks for the suggestion I’ll try that. It is round and it is curved on it. I am working on the lighting, I might try adding in rings or another design around the top and bottom of the ball that go all the way around.
