I have been pondering ways to dynamically put holes in walls when they are blown up by rockets.
And… So far I’ve tried the approach of making the individual vertices disappear through python, but that’s not possible since there are no commands for deleting vertices.
Instead, I’m going to try making walls out of preset chunks of rubble (slotted together like Lego!) so that when there is an explosion, the affected chunks are rendered invisible and the remaining chunks make a cool edge around the hole.
Anyone got any other ideas??? Many thanks if you can help.
