Nice. This is better than a lot of the bonsai models I’ve seen. Although, it could still use work. For one, straiten it up. I’ve yet to see a bonsai that off kilter.
My uncle was a bonsai artist so I ended up reading many books and watching many videos as a kid.
your branch layout should be like this.
the white branch would be stripped off dead wood. but for the pads you want them alternating, reducing in size as they go up and leaning downwards. Get rid of the red ones.

I’ve never seen bonsai in my life but I’ll see what I can do. It requires remodelling, resculpting, reunvraping, repainting weightmap so I would prefer to focus on less arduous task 
This is how what I said before applies to that tree. (the red lines) The branches may look like a mess but they are all set in the same style, its just looser. (the green ones are how each trunk is broken down also)
If you look at a more mature bonsai you will see.

Yes, you have a point there. If I find more time I’ll rebuild the tree tomorrow… I can see that the shape should be conical. Besides tree and leaves any tips as for the rest?
Yes, the soil shouldnt be blue! I think you did a good job of that bark tho, its very nice.
