It started quite innocently (I swear) with one sphere.
Wanted to toy a bit with softbodies…
Then I freezed one half of the sphere and run the simulation… and it looked like a booby. When you come to think of it, a woman breast is just something close to a sphere influenced by gravity (I won’t treat the case of the wonderbra)
So I froze this booby, and decided to give it a twin. ^^
After freezing the boobic form, I re-enabled softbody and started playing with softbodies settings until I was satisfied… I wanted boobs that animate fast, moved a bit with elasticity but without an exagerated Pamela Anderson Baywatch effect…
Speed set to 2 allow the virtual twins improve the simulation:). I tried higher speeds and it works fine too. It work better for fast and short movement animations (like running or a earthquake situation… :p)
I don’t think the use edges and stiff quad is necessary because of the goal settings.
Modification of the mass allow for very tight boobies (from 0 to 1) to very… well. You catch the idea.
But I am not a softbody specialist
Maybe there are key settings to make it better and faster…

Or just laugh at the two twins moving and bobbing everywhere
PS : if it works for the top, it should work for the bottom… ahem.
One reproach I have is that these boobies have perfect synchronism… Which is not natural. Woman breast have slight asymetry that make the two breast moves in different ways… but well…

Also, your boobs look kinda… diseased. Pale gray, with… bright red tips. Kinda like necrotic boils.

I didn’t texture them. Mine where solid gray… I mean the virtual ones of course :p… mines are hairy and… well… whatever…

Apparently you can use weight painting to control the soft body effect on the jiggly bits of a character. I haven’t experimented with it yet but here’s a little tut I found some time ago.
Wouldn’t it be more offensive if they didn’t move? It would be sending a message to all the young girls ou there that they can’t be beautiful without implants. Please consider the body-self-image of all the young girls out there and let the breasts on your 3D females swing freely and naturally.
aws357, you can use the textures/shaders from the soldiers if you like - the nipple started out as a female nipple, it is o.k. to look at.
haha I am the original soft body boob guy here at elysiun. when I posted my demo file so long ago it shook the very foundations of the community. I think soft bodies have improved quite a bit since then though.
