Hi Guys,
This time I would like to share this personal project in which I designed and rendered a lounge chair concept.
I named this chair Början, as this means Beginning’ in Swedish. It was my first project that I’ve made after deciding to quit my former job and focus on a carreer in the visualisation industry.
I started with a lot of sketches to determine the overall shape of the chair. My background in Industrial design came really handy in this phase of the project.
Afterwards I used two tutorials by Blender guru to model the chair. I used the Beginner moddeling series for the frame: https://youtu.be/Hf2esGA7vCc And the Couch tutorial series for the cushions: https://youtu.be/Y4whyFTilsA.
After the model was finished, I made a studio environment for displaying the chair.
And to finish it up, I made this interior render to show the concept in a real world use case.
