Inspired after watching Andrew’s tutorial.
Modelled with blender, rendered with cycles, minor post with GIMP
Hello the breads are good texture and material and lighting is well
so that’s good scene.
I like to say you learned his tut good.
Best regards.
Happy Blender
I like the wheat, although they appear to be pointing “up”, as if they’re not fully affected by gravity.
However, (and this is mostly critique against mr Price tbh :P) the edge where the bread has been cut before being baked is always sharp - never round. As bread is heated up in an oven, it expands and pushes the (still soft) crust outwards. So very theoreticly, hold up your hand sideways, thumb down, and think of it as a loaf of bread. Now before you put it into the oven (don’t literally put your hand in the oven), you use a knife to make a cut between your thumb and your other fingers. Then to simulate how bread functions, merely lift your four fingers from your thumb, and you’ve created the same movement the crust performs. And most importantly, your fingers to the back of your hand show a sharp edge.
This could be the strangest post I’ve ever done. But I would say - try to add one or two loop-cuts between the crust and the “cross-cut”, maybe pull them out as well. That should give you a slightly sharper edge and more realistic looks.
Thanks man, i think learned it well.
Maybe not fotoreal but awesome.
I must say, for a novice, this bread look awesome.
I need to focus to see that they are not real
