Breaking cube problem

As can be seen in the video, I’m having an issue with having the sphere come crashing down on the cell fractured cube. As the cube explodes before the ball can even land on it. I’ve tried fiddling with the cube, but the end results make it worse or don’t change anything at all. Animating it manually works, but that’s not what I’m trying to do here.

How do I fix it so that the cube doesn’t explode until the ball lands on it with nothing but the rigid body simulator?

You should activate the Deactivation flag and Start Deactivated flag, then the cube fracture when ball crash down on it.

Would you believe me when I said that the Deactivation Flag was activated when I did the simulation?
