Bridge Edge Loops Problem-

Notice in the photograph that there are two selected edge loops. I apply Bridge Edge Loops. Strangely it joins vertices that are twisted round several degrees so much that the twist evidently causes it to fail to create a face on the right side, though joining vertices that are straight across the gap would make more sense to join. Can anyone tell me why that is happening? Varying the ‘twist’ parameter has no effect at all. Thanks. And Alperen, there are 44 vertices in both edge loops.

Hey. Firstly sorry 4 my bad english. vertex count should be same which u make a bridge edges. If its doesnt work again, u can try to make face with F for all 4vertex group.

It’s not a complete set of edges on the other one. Your selection doesn’t go all the way around, there’s an n-gon with an extra vertex in the way.

Either dissolve the extra vertex and select again, or deselect one edge from the other side so it aligns

I see what you mean. There is one dark vertex in the upper right inner edge loop at the 2:30 position. Not sure how it was missed in that I did an Edge Loops Select. Dunno. I was eventually able to get it working and yes it’s important to check that both edges have the same number of vertices. Thanks.
