How can I make an organic object shine from within in order to have a subsurface scattering effect on the skin?

According ideas: … you could of course make the object somekind of transparent… maybe using multiple layers/values… maybe more than one… to fake this… it depends… what your intentions/goals are or what is faster :wink:
