Bright White textures w/ lighting {help?}

When ever I add a texture to my figure it works fine.
When I add a light source anywhere in the scene it makes the textures go bright white in colour.
Is there any easy way to stop this??

I’d say your lights are too intense, turn them down, but that doesn’t square with it happening no matter where you place your lights. Something else is going on. Post your blend so people can take a look at it and give you some informed advice.

I put the light at its minimum but nothing changed

I am not at all familiar with the game engine or Blender Game lighting, so I have no idea why this worked. I went into the compositing set up and clicked “add nodes” to the Compositor tab of the Nodes Editor, and a render layer and composite node were added to the node editor.

Then I went to 3D view and added a sun lamp. The model looks like it is lit normally.
