Bringing 3D Animation to Real Life

I’ve been looking at turning digital animation into a thing you can see and touch. So after a bit of research I came across a device called a Zoetrope. Such an awesome idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_-j9uuaDOQ

This project has a deadline of around 6 months. I plan to create 4 models, rig, animate and 3d print them. Then the assembly of the zoetrope begins. I’ll probably do the assembly of the device on and off throughout this period.

Here’s a basic sketch of what it’s going to look like. Scale is not final.

I also did this for an album that was just released a few days ago.
