Okay, to ease the stress of college I quickly modeled a character: Brother John. In the end he is supposed to be a monk. And yes this will most likely not be finished anytime soon
and all of the other good stuff:

OMG thats amazing work! haha i know it probubly wasnt all that hard but i love the eyes. he has ababy look to em.
thankyou and critiques?
Hey lookin good my friend. The only crit I have is maybe just the heavy shadow at the corner of the eye/s. But I’m sure you’ve noted that anyways. Also I picked up a very slight ridge running horizontally across the nose, dunno if ya know what I mean. He looks like a friendly bloke
Your Character should have some Laughing, Crying, Smiling, MouthYell, Speak , Eye Blinking etc. poses.
haha thanks for blowing the surprise! well I mean its kinda obvious that the smiling form isn’t the only head I have of his. Like the goblin, I enjoy making blend shapes for these things. So expect ol’John boy to become very chatty and expressive soon.
woa, it creeps me out and sooths me at the same time, nice job!
This face looks perfect for the Priest character in Romeo and Juliet: kind, well meaning, helpful, but ultimately stupid, in that he winds up giving the kids poison that leads to their deaths. You’ve got a good eye for character, Framedworld.
I really suck at texturing if anyone wants to play around with it a little and show me a better version, you’re more than welcome:

haha, thank you thank you
You might want to add a spec map when you use sss. The face is looking kind of waxy, mostly because of the uniform spec. An eye layer lamp would help, too, to keep the highlights in the eyes, especially with that overhanging brow.
you’re absolutely right I’ll get right on it
He looks sort of like a melted werthers original.
created and adjusted a spec map, and added a light:
it’s sexy, no?
Great character modeling, great expression. The one thing I preferred from the earlier version is the somewhat redder skin tone.
