Just finished this project. I wanted to push my new Simple Scatter Node setup to its limits. It was a great learning opportunity and experience! Feel free to ask questions if you have any, otherwise I hope it brings a smile to your lips! Artstation Link
Super cool ! Well done !
How did you do the mountains in the distance ? what kind of object is scattered ?
Thank you!
The Mountains in the Background are just a plate, an image on a plane with an emission of 1.
The 3D objects end at the tree line. The scattered objects are everything in front of and including the trees. The flowers, Grass, Bushes, Trees, & all the other plants, etc… They are all scattered using my Simple Scatter Geometry Nodes setup. I can add non-uniform, random scaling to my objects. All of the purple and blue flowers only have 5 source objects. The rest are squashed and stretched to look like different meshes and add some variety.
In total this scene only has around 20 different objects.
Beautiful scene !
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Well I’m Flattered, thank you!
