can you show nodes set up !

which renderer is it ?

but it is looking good

happy cl

Renderer is Cycles.

I can show you the nodes if you want, but it’s pretty boring. Both spheres are set to glass material, one ground plane and one mesh emitter. Really nothing special.

no HDRI world map for this !

did you use like a blue light for this ?

happy cl

No HDRI. The emitter is white.

In fact, the only object to have color is the ground plane, which is blue.

how many hours for 6000 samples ?

thanks
happy cl

I don’t remember the exact time, but I have a new iMac. I think it was about 6 hours.

I usually set up my renders before I leave for the night. By the time get here in the morning, they’re done.

Very pretty.

Thank you!

Did another render in Appleseed. Not sure I like it. Since Appleseed supports SPPM, I was hoping to get some cool caustics. To me it looks too contrasty and blown out… and way too noisy! Has anyone else tried Appleseed?
