I was wroking with viewport shading for the majority of this model, so i have no idea when this happened. however, My object is inexplicably grey, or looking at the render specifically, transparent. Haven’t found the source of the issue yet, other objects seem fine. Looking in specular and diffuse color/lighting that also returns as completely blank, so I don’t think it’s absorbing any light.
does anyone know a solution? thanks! I am using blender 4.0 and on an 8gb mac ventura.
We need to see what you added to the character…did you just add a color?
Can you share the file so we don’t have to guess what could be wrong…
It looks like the character is set to “holdout”.
This option is found in the object’s “visibility” settings and is used for compositing purposes, acting as a transparent hole in the image.
The object could also be placed inside a collection that is set to holdout.
