Ok! This is an hour work. I think Mesh has to be improved further at some places before I start detaching parts and working on them properly.
Rear is still left.

cool,u started in such a simple way and are progressing from there. I use to try this method but,it was too much. Keep up the good work.
Hey guys am stuck at this modelling problem. Please help.
I did subsurf and because of that there is a rounding at a point where I need sharp edges.
Please suggest what is the solution.
I canāt do loop because close to that place there is a circular cut, which isntā allowing loops at the corner. I have shown both the pictures
Did it myself. I used one horizontal and one vertical loop.
This solved the rounded edge problem.
Then I choose all the vertices of the tank cap, which became square after I had created those two loops.
then I used āTo Sphereā in the Mesh Tool and it again became rounded
Ok! Here is some snapshots after 1 hour of work from where I left it last
I am quite satisfied
I love this car.World fastest car but i didnt like the shape.Lamborghini and other exotic cars have good shape than Bugatti.
ChinaBuye.com
that looks pretty good! are all the different colors just for differentiating between different objects? keep up the good work!
Thanks If you see how I made cars couple of months back, you would have laughed at meā¦lol.
I seperated all the parts so that I can manage intricacies on the body, without running too many loops all over the body. Secondly, I can identify parts for coloring/texturing
i doubt i would have laughed, because i wasnāt even working with blender a few months back and besides, the one car i started i didnāt finish, although i would like to do one completely
I am noticing a lot of trianglesā¦ Make sure that you donāt get ANY artifacts whith subsurf on a final render. I am actually really quite surprised you havenāt had any larger problems with all those triangles. Other than that it looks pretty good.
tahseenā¦ this is looking goodā¦
one thing however. The fuel cap area. One way to manage that area without the triangles, stares me in the face. between all the parts will be a ridge right? no matter how small, this can work with you for pointed edges like theseā¦ if you extrude the whole set of outer verts of each part just a tad, and then Crease the edge which contains the corner, and its extruded duplicate. do this by selecting that edge, and then hitting ānā and then sliding the bar to 1.000. this should tidy it up a bitā¦ if you need help with it, let me knowā¦
Sounds great. Can you just explain with a pictures or a small video tutorial please. I really love to learn new ways of modelling
ok, here is an extreme example. simple, but brings the point overā¦
the first picture is what you hadā¦ full quads, no possible distortion if you had to make a curve or whateverā¦ its flat mesh.
The Second picture is the solution to the problem. to get to that menu, hit āNā and drag that crease bar upā¦ and you get that effectā¦ NOTE: you will have to crease all edges you are going to extrudeā¦ so they stay sharpā¦ as seen thereā¦
need any more help?
Thanks Buddy. Will try this out. I knew the crease part but crease after extrusion I never thought of.
You method would help reduce the loops
yeahā¦ it helps reduce loops used to sharpen edges, and in turn, this will save thousands of faces the further down the subsurf levels you goā¦ surely a good tacticā¦
if there is any other problems you come across, let me know alright? im trying to make my way back into this stuff after a long break. Now to start a new project of my ownā¦ hmm
Ok! Did very little bit of work and did the first render test to check the body.
I guess bumper needs little bit of work from the body curve perspective.
Not the worldās fastest anymore. The Aero from shelbysupercars.com is. And I agree. Lamboās are a lot nicer in shape but nothing beats a w16 engine in pure awesomeness. Your model looks great so far Tahseen. And is that a 300zx in your avatar?
Thanks
And Yes! Thatās Nissan 300ZX that I had modelled.
I think Bugatti has a very muscular look. Aero has a look very much inclined towards sportiness
So I would give a higher overall rating to Bugatti. The difference between the top speed acheived in both the cars is merely 7 mph. I think Bugattiās driver wasnāt as good and not that Bugatti couldnāt have achieved that speed
Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition would beat them up so hard!
