Bugatti Veyron

Been working on this for some time now, reaching final render stages. What can I improve? Any advice/nodesetups/tutorials on photo matching and backplating will be appreciated. Also I’d like to hear your possible scene ideas.

nice work on that car!
i would render some studio shots. i personally like them, maybe also an empty car-lot scene would be cool!
if possible you should reduce the grain in your renders.

nice job on the modeling, but:
1)like eric said, its pretty grainy, especially on the 2nd render, but i guess its not the final render
2) on the 2nd render, the headlights seem to fuse with the car, which looks wrong to me…
3) the tires are way too clean
4) where is the exhaust pipe?
5) the back lights need a texture, no car lights are that simple

but other than that, very nicely done (but more samples please!)

Thanks for the feedback.

Eric Fondane: The empty-car lot idea is exactly what I was thinking

f3l1x: any suggestions on how to dirty up the car tires?

Here’s a 1500 samples

nice at 1500 samples!
what i would use for the tires is like this:

what about thre headlights?

sorry, accidental double post… how can i delete a post?

google a bit on ways to reduce noice in your render 1500 samples seams overkill (can you notice the changes with your eyes still while blender works on a render block ??).

1500 isnt overkill, for example the cornell box was still noisy with 1000 samples and it took about 4096+ to get it noise-free. glass material especially causes a lot of noise.

Did you mirror the tires? in the first image i see that the bump texture is mirrored

i would say there is a new goal
the renderquality is much better now btw!

fantastic model. If i can say anything i would say the bevelling is ever so slightly tight. it feels very sharp. stunning none the less.

Have you enabled "multiple importance sample in the world and/or sun settings?
