I recently produced this 1 minute 3D jewelry animation. It went several weeks in production, as it also underwent the instalation of my new computer.
โBuild Upโ a 3D Jewelry Design ANIMATION Blender 4.1 4K 60 fps
The no glitches version
(and at continuation, the glitchy version the MP4 encoding glitches mama mia. Let this serve as teaching case scenario)
Jewelry is one
of humanityโs
greatest artforms.
It connects us all,
through all the ages.
The ring was designed and manufactured for a client (in fact a variant with the Dodge Ram on the side decorations)
(Note: I design, they manufacture. In the coming years I might go back to jewelry making, irony is full of life, or life is full of irony. I teached and manufactured jewels during 20 years straight.)My new hardware allows me to render in Cycles and correct things almost on the fly.
Most 2 seconds sequences take 10 minutes to render, instead of hours.
I wanted to test my new hardware and Blender 4.1 in production.
Softwares used: Blender 4.1 Cycles, Corel Suite, Luxcore and Davinci
The production was started a couple of weeks ago on my previous computer. Each 2 seconds sequence would take several hours to render. Normal stuff, computer rendering at night.
And I still have a lot to optimize. At least now hardware is liberating.
