Building Generator

Hi,

I’ve made a building generator with Geometry nodes in Blender 3.0.
Everything is generated with a single node tree from a primitive volume.

Generated building (rendered with Cycles & compo in Blender) :

Building generator demo:

Nodes looks chaotic, but there is order hidden in chaos.

That is some cool black magic. Great work.
If you don’t mind me asking, where are these people models from? I’m working on a project where I’ll have to use a bunch of them and I’m not sure where to look for it.

Fantastic! I am assuming all the different elements are regularly modeled objects, right? Not that that would make it less impressive, I was just wondering about the workflow

I am amazed!

Not really ^^
Here are all the models used. Everything else (including furniture for example) is generated in the node tree.

Thats fantastic. Really impressive

Would love a breakdown/tutorial of this, as I am sure would many others. But you’ve given the community so much already, I don’t want to ask you for it

Again, awesome job!

Thank you.
I will seriously consider it.
It will be difficult to reproduce the same result in a tutorial but it is possible to explain how it is done.

Fantaastic job.
The final result is great.

I think that a breakdown/tutorial will be really helpful for many of us.

Wow, impressive !

I really like that you can adjust the building just by dragging faces of the “cube” in the editor. I’ve seen a few building geonode tutorials, but nothing with that kind of workflow. I would kill to know how to build that kind, but I don’t even know where to begin figuring that out.

Yeah, I’m focused on the process, rather than the final results.

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
