Hi guys, I’m trying to get this bump to look smoother, but can’t figure out how. the png is already 16bit and pretty big, 4K, but seems like won’t help, I’d like to have those bumpy lines kinda round-ish without all those zig zag… is there any way to do that correctly ? thank you
First off…don’t save the file as a .jpg they are always jagged. Save as a .png…but make sure to run something like this through a gaussian blur filter in Gimp or PS a couple of times…I screen grabbed your image and had to run it through 5 times …

I didn’t have your original image only the screen grab…I ran the Gaussian Blur on that image 5 times…add blur, tweak settings, accept and do that 5 times…you should always add Gaussian Blur to a Bump or a Displacement at least once or twice to smooth the hard edges, especially in Displacement!
