bump map isn't showing in render.

I’m doing a tutorial here: http://cgcookie.com/blender/lessons/5-shading-lighting-and-rendering/ I made the bump map in Blender Render Mode using cloud texture. Then I baked it to a texture map. But when I attempt to use the saved png bump map image in Blender Cycles node editor, I don’t get any effect. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to get the bump map to work as shown in the tutorial? (The “bumps” you do see are from the normal map png.)

Blend file:(sorry the file is so big. A lot of failed texture attempts packed with it.)

Looks like the Mix node

I wouldn’t use the displacement socket of the output node at all. It’s an unfinished feature.

How did you get the skin bump to show by itself? When I break off the noodle from the other two textures, My skin/shell turns completely black.

In any case, I got the bump map to work. I had to do what you did above. But also, I had to increase the normal map strength to get the bump map to appear. I have no idea why it works like this, but it does.

Thanks for your help.
