Some extra rawish renders from same scene but with different camera angles.
And viewport.

That is impressive work!
Nice renders. How did you create those mountains? I love the details on them.
Epic !
super interesting to see the raw render and viewport ! It’s super cool how you manage to bring the sense of scale !
Do you have a video showing how you made this amazing environment
Terrain and Mountain was created in Gaea. Displacement and enough polygons took care the rest.
*Edit
Little cliff detail texture was made in adobe/substance designer to give cliffs bit more cracks and variation. This combined with cliff texture displacement works pretty well so long as you can afford those polygons ![]()
Thanks! i did scale everything using real values mostly except terrains which i scaled to feel big enough.
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Heyy!
Thanks for the feature!
Wonderful work!
You’re on the #featured row! ![]()
Just one more question: How did you do the clouds? Great work, btw. Personally I would tune down the greens quite a bit if you strive for realism. Cheers, P.
Heyy!
I did those clouds with volumetrics and rendered em separately in different view layer. After that i edited em in affinity photo to their final look by using alpha cloud brushes.
I do agree that there is lot of greenery and blue but i liked it personally so i just decided to go with it.
Not really trying to go for realism anyways bit stylized is the thing i am aiming for.
Incredible. I’d consider to hire you to design my next house!
Just living in Kharkiv, Ukraine. you know… ![]()
Thanks for the explanation. Keep it up!
Hi everyone,
Here is the “Behind the Scenes” article for this brilliant artwork!
Do check out this article, written by the artist himself. It describes the process of making the artwork step by step and provides insight into environment-building in Blender.
