Not going to bother scanning and posting original sketches as you get the idea form what I’ve done so far.
I’m unsure what colour scheme I should go with, I’ve been playing around with a single rbg curve in the compositor for about an hour and these are the best I could come up with:

Hmm. The first two remind me of Elephants dream.

I personally like the first one the best. Blue tinted one is a close second, but looks a bit too greenish for my personal liking. Good work so far.
