When I use the CAD Sketcher Add on and I want to draw a new sketch on a face, I use “Add Workplaneon mesh face”. But how can I be sure thaat the new sketch is in the center of the face? Because when I click on the face the sketch is created anywhere on it.

In older versions of Blender the cursor held an important role. Perhaps it has some relevance in this case as well.
