Cake ganache?

Hi,

I got stuck on it.

Is there a fast way to make a ganache like this:

I’m making a cake model.

I followed this tutorial:
Create a Donut Blender Tutorial

The modeler uses ‘Solidify’ and ‘Subdivision’ modifiers.
The ganache looks thicker on the video.

I want the ganache like in the above image.

Thanks for any help

Most of the other lectures are similar to donut lectures.
If it is difficult to keep up with the lecture, you must first learn the functions mentioned in the lecture.

I did 3 small ganache stripes myself. But it takes so long. So, I’m searching for a faster solution.

Watch the second video and refer to the donut video

I don’t think there’s a perfect video you want.
We’re making them all in a similar way.

You can watch the first video from 55 seconds :slightly_smiling_face:

I made it exactly like in this video:
Cake - Blender tutorial - FREE 3D MODEL

Maybe somebody knows a faster solution and post the solution here

I have a full cake, which is 360°.

Everyone is asking for a faster way to do things… there was always a way to make things fast… buy it !

Or even … search for: free 3d cake model … So depending on the amount of money:

:dotted_line_face::person_shrugging: :cookie:
:money_with_wings: :person_shrugging: :cupcake:
:moneybag: :person_shrugging: :cake:

The fastest way I know is this :

You could use dynamic paint with gravity set on brush so it will leaks from the side.
But you have to read about it…
Then use this map or vtx groupe in geo node or with displaced shader.
Good luck.
