Camaro chevrolet 2010

This is my second attempt at modelling a car and I just thought I’d like other people to see my progress Haven’t finnished it yet and I am still working on it very slowly.

Baisicly my technique is to shape a single plane on each part. here is my progress.




& I just found out that I am only able to post 3 images at a time :confused:

Gonna start modelling the back windows and then I’ll work on the boot.


i don’t know if I’ll be modelling the interior of the car aswell. I’m not so sure of the topology of the vehicle yet.

I like your progress so far, and I’d like to see a wireframe.

Yeah looks good so far! You should post a wire frame so you can get better critiques.

I just modified the default box to point in a certain direction. Only thing I needed to changed was the side view because of the width adjustment in blender



Started of modelling a single plane then added in subdivisions to match up the vertices with the top view


I just marked the order I did the vehicles bonnet in.


I then started putting it in place :slight_smile: Then started working on the front.










Had some unclean vertices moessing around so I decided to join them together :slight_smile:



& this is the before and after :slight_smile:


After I finnished the front side I then started working on the side doors and then the windows




After the windows I started the framing of the top and worked on the roof. Then I added in the back windows on the side




you seriously need to clean up your topology its an ungodly mess, there is no way this subdivides cleanly. I once started modelling this car , I left it because the were so many people modelling it, and I think I even gave away some blends so I know you can definitely model this a lot cleaner than you are doing it at the moment.

Agree with tyrant monkey, the topology is one big mess in lot of places, at first the few renders made it look ok, but u have picked the materials that hides the specularity so once u render with correct materials it will never look good :no:

hhmm ok I’ll deffinetly have to clean it up abit then.

I think I’ll finnish modeling the car first and then I can try again so I’ll have a second attempt on everything.
