Camera bug

Hi all,
I have fairly recently started using blender, but have noticed that sometimes when i try to reposition the camera with shift + 0, something odd happens and i actually end up inside another object rather than repositioning the camera to where i am looking, i noticed this happened in one of greybeards tutorials (i cant remember which one). Is there a workaround to get this working again within the project?

sorry found answer to the problem in this thread…

Yep, Alt+0 restores previous camera. Just for future reference, this command as well as many more can be found within Blender’s own help menu. Help --> hotkey and mouse actions —> numpad.
