I’m making a 10 minute demo for a new style of motion-graphics video that amateurs can produce by themselves or perhaps with limited help. It’s extremely simple with no modelling, rigging, or texturing, just a fly-through camera moving in interesting ways.
While I don’t need an expert with lots of exotic experience, I do need help with pipeline development and getting organized. I’m hopelessly undisciplined so I would like to find someone who can coach me and help me see at least this first project through to completion. I am a retired TV producer and a Blender amateur working alone now but looking to form a collaborative studio.
This project is Blender specific because I want to be able to share files and elements with newbies. The skills required are basic Blender animation, especially camera dancing, plus Python and other automation with AI. Video editing/compositing and sound design is a plus.
I don’t have a strict deadline or budget but I’m guessing at a month of part time work and $1000. If you’re the right person, you can probably upsell me. Understanding and enthusiasm for the content will mean a lot to me. You can learn more at my website: clarionwave.com.
