Whenever i select the camera, i can’t select other objects and i’m unable to deselect it
any suggestions ?
No, it’s not everything is enabled
If you share the file, we can check if you have the same problem.
Alternatively, you can try to initialize the blender.
(Back up settings before initialization)
There are different selection options available when you click and hold on the selection box in the toolbar…
You are using the “Select Box” in your screenshot. Which means you need to drag a box around objects to select them. I would suggest using “Tweak” which is the default setting.
- Tweak
- Select Box (you are here)
- Select Circle
- Select Lasso
Alternatively, using the MOVE tool (hitting G or selecting it from the toolbar) will give you similar results.
If none of that makes a difference, it’s difficult to troubleshoot without more data… such as, can you still select/deselect things in the outliner? Do you have a lot of addons enabled (one of them may be interfering with selection), etc.

And for selecting/deselcting objects from the outliner, yes i can. but even ‘’ Tweak ‘’ doesn’t make a difference
Did you hit G ?? …and while moving the mouse the view changes slighlty…
