Here comes my last project, simply a camera. Maybe later I tinker a scene around it. Hope you like it, though. Oh, for upcoming questions - the render engine is not Cycles, it’s the good old YafaRay.
Nice simple but still perfect…
Thank you for your comments.
For the lighting I used a method from real photography: I built a lightcube (a simple cube with a little meshlight power) around the camera. Then I added 2 meshlights inside the cube: 1 on the left, 1 on the right. That’s all.
By the way: YOUR camera is very nice too. I love the metal material of the objective. Excellent work. And I prefer the render with the white camera + black background.
Thanks for your reply Aaron
Indeed, the white camera is nicer. But the real one was black, so, it is a better reference !
I will have to try and do a setup just as you did.
This is wonderfull!.
Incidentely the 500 CM was my first Hasselblad, still works perfect twenty years later.
The only thing i noticed was some stretch in the material on the top of the camera, to the left of the viewfinder.
But very well done!
simply perfect
Noticing some texture stretching near the top of the body but other than that this is incredible!
Great work!
Do you mind telling how you modelled the grip on focusing ring?
Really nice work!
