Cameron (Zoophobia)

This is my 3D remake of Cameron from the web-comic Zoophobia by Vivienne Medrano (a.k.a Vivziepop).

Thus far I have spent about 23 hours of work on this over 3 days. And I want it looking a little better before I get into rigging. I tried to stay true to the original artists style. And it was very difficult to translate that into a rigid 3-diementional form. Especially the hair.

I have kinda driven myself nuts over the last three days with this project. As I had to do many things such as texturing a character by hand, for the very first time. And I have honestly loved every minuet of it. But I have hit a point where I need to step back and get some feed back.

Any advice, suggestions, tips, likes, dislikes would be really appreciated.

One thing I would like some advise on is that the lines on the texture don’t meet perfectly where I marked my seams for the unwrap. Is this something I can fix in blender, or will I need to change the texture itself? ( I am using Krita for my texture painting)

If you are interested in the web-comic, or the original artist. The above link will take you to the web-comics main page and the artist links should be located on the left of the page.

Just to clarify. I do not own this character. This is essentially fan-art.

You need to upload the image I can’t see them

I can’t see the image either. You should try uploading it again. Also, is it just me, or did anyone else come in here reading the title Zoophobia as Zootopia?

I just re-uploaded the images. Did that fix it? I cant really tell on my end.

yeah I can see the image, one thing is to smooth the edges in the middle of the face and can you post wireframe and side view

Sorry these took a while. I got a little side tracked while these were rendering.

The topology is not the best, so I suggest that you look into some tutorials for topology.
