What I want to do is open an image in the UV/Image editor, and keep it that way no matter what, unless I close the image on puspose. What I’m doing is trying to look at a reference image while I make materials for the object based on the image. But, whenever I click an object or go into edit mode, the image changes.
In 2.53, click the little pushpin icon next to the image name box, tooltip is “Display current image regardless of object selection”. Already I don’t remember if 2.49 and earlier have this feature.
