Can I UV map liquid?

I’d like blender water in a game that can’t use shaders or materials, just textures.
Is there a way I can automatically UV map water and use the same texture on all frames without making it terribly ugly? Or a similar method?

If it’s impossible, how do I export it with “Simple” UV coordinates? My importers throw an error when I open a .obj file without UVs.

(And without manually unwrapping 250+ frames…)
