Can not see a font in Blender

Hi, I recently installed a new font. I can see it inside Windows folder, but I can not see it in Blender. Is this possible? When I search from here:

I can not see it or search for it either.

Did you experience this?

Yes. There are multiple formats of fonts. And Blender does not support them all.

Because of an attack, official site is down. So, I can’t link all formats that are supported.

But clearly, Truetype and Opentype fonts are supported.

Please make svg and import unsupported fonts.
Unsupported fonts are a common occurrence in other software as well. :slightly_smiling_face:

Usually, if you call it, it looks like it’s not there because the size is small.
Check it out on Outliner :slightly_smiling_face:

I had the same problem where I installed a font and it did not show up in Fonts:

Took awhile but I eventually found out that at times when installing it is saved to a different location and not the Fonts folder in Windows…

Check.>>>C:\Users\YOUR-NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft \Windows\Fonts\

That is where I found mine…Isn’t Windows Wonderful?

PS: Make sure to add a bookmark for this folder so you don’t have to search for it again!
Happy Blending!
