Can someone please make me this driveshaft joint?
Go fairly easy on the polycount.
Please provide the back view for better understanding of this model.
I think the back is the same as the front
If it’s not the same, then I would worry about some serious rotational imbalance.
Hi,
Yes, a view is missing to fully understand the parts, but according to the image it is the top view !
I saw this post a few days ago and just skipped past it because if I had time to model something, I would model the stuff I need.
The recent discussion here caught my attention. The whole front view/back view thing is I think a terminology problem. It all depends upon your view point.
I agree with @JaAlVir657
It’s a top view, because I can see a floor below the object.
But to model anything in 3d it takes at least 3 views to do a good job. Consider the image as a top view, then you need a side view and a front view to complete the picture. If someone is good enough to model a car with just a top view, I’d like to see it…
Anyway, put all that aside for now. I looked up @LBJ profile. Featured on BlenderNation for his modelling of a T-14 Armata battle tank.
@LBJ Seriously, if you can model a tank like that, then why are you asking for someone to model a drive shaft’s universal joint? I would think you have the skills to do this yourself.
Just my thoughts,
Randy
