I have a a very slow laptop and it takes too long to precache volume when rendering smoke. The simulation is already baked and it’s a scene of the street cumbling using the fracture modifier. I’m willing to share with you the file afterwards in case you want to modify or recreate instead of watching a tutorial. Thanks.
I may be able to help. I can’t estimate how long it will take though without knowing the complexity of the scene, number samples, number of frames, resolution, exc.
