I had a bit of fun the other day and took a few hours to experiment with an idea.
The idea? Modeling completely out of curve objects! What do you think?
Also, the material was built procedurally in Blender.

The Final Render

The main curve object defining the candlestick.

The textures may not look amazing on a large detail-less area, but it gets the job done and was fun to make.

The wireframe. Although, being modeled out of curves it’s very flexible and I can add more polygons infinitely.

I think the materials look very good. I could be immediately persuaded that this is a photo of a brass candlestick.

Thank you!
Part of the material was some procedural fingerprints, that ended up looking terrible. They were a good experiment but are now just really subtle and almost non-existent in the final.
