I am doing some texturing on a plane. I have somehow gotten the UV Test Pattern assigned to my Wings and can’t get rid of it. It doesn’t matter if I assign a MAT to the wings or have no MAT assigned the pattern still shows up when rendering. Help! How do I turn if off? Thanks.
Can’t say for sure what’s going on, but I’d be happy to check into it if you’re able to upload the file.
Here is the file. I had to strip out many of the other parts to get it down to size. But the problem still exists. Just the wings, camera, and lights left. Hopefully you can figure it out. Thanks.

That file doesn’t seem to exhibit the problem on my end. I’ll PM you with my email, in case you want to send the original version. I’m thinking that it’s not a material/texture issue, though, but a geometry issue (maybe overlapping faces) … but it’s hard to tell from the pic.
btw: it’ll probably help if you pack the textures before sending.
As stated by Cire, this is a geometry issue. It’s caused by your mirror modifier.
