cant load images or movies in sequence window

when i try to load any image or movie in sequence window blender(2.23windows)automatically quit

can you describe step by step what you are doing? Unless you are loading an uncompatible AVI, I don’t see what the problem can be.

1-open blender

2-shift+f8(sequence window)

3-shift+a

4-click in images or movies

5-error. and i can`t do anything ,only close the program
(i can load only scenes ,sequence plugins,and efects )

also i cant access to hard drive(c:)using blender browser,i have the same
problem(close program)

I never heard of that bug. Maybe it is an OS problem…
