car

ya… the bugatti has a weird hood. it kinda slopes up like a pig nose. thanks for the input tho!

uhm, awesome model, but just one thing… the air intake is kinda messed with the roof! it goes through the roof and you can see it though the window! whats the point in an air intake that cant get any air!? lol otherwise its brilliant! i love that car! 408 kmph <3

Wake up! 431.3 kmph!

yeah… the intake only goes that far over the roof. since i havent done the interior yet i havent put the cover over the intake so you cant see it through the window. im surprised your the only one whos noticed it!

I think pple have nocied, i mean i know i did, but thats pretty much the reason(you didnt do the interior) i didnt say anything

btw, can i animate the wheels to follow the car and rotate with just constraints, or do i have to use python?

nvm… i got it to work with the transform constraint. probly easier than coding too (for me anyways)

So wait if you move the car object the armatures spin and make the wheels spin??
Can you share your way of doing this plz?

Ok…

First off… nice work on the Bugatti. Some minor adjustments will make this a great model and I agree with others, you are doing a really good job…

And to the others…

SHAME on all of you… Quaz is asking for crits and we all know that great work is in the details…
yet NONE of you caught that he buggered his tires…

Goodyear would never sell a tire with their name upside down :stuck_out_tongue: Look at Quaz’s texture on his tires compared to this:

Just harassing you guys… Good work Quaz…keep it up

Cujo

oh lol i never noticed that! haha. i could just turn the wheels so the name is on the bottom… facing up.

well you add a transform constraint to the wheels. constrain them to the car(no armature needed). then you set it up so that when the car goes in a certain direction the wheels turn accordingly. this only works if is goin in a straight line though… my setup is to have the y direction control x rotation of the wheels. 1m in the y direction means 99 degrees of rotation for the wheels. it depends on how big your wheels are for the settings though.

i dunno if what i put makes any sense :stuck_out_tongue:

Whoa, that is insane!

Can we see the wires please?
