Modeled aircraft before but this would be the first one that’s actually made it to a render.
I put the blender logo in front because it seems there are many logos placed on the nose of the cavalon, didn’t want to put a seller’s logo on it and didn’t have any fake logos of my own so I just went with the blender logo. Really wish I could have used the Cavalon font for the name on the side but couldn’t find it.
The reflections come from a hangar I modeled, which can be seen in the wips of this aircraft. I rendered the hangar as an equirectangular image at about 300% of 1080 and used it as an environment texture. Didn’t really work trying to render the Cavalon in the hangar.
I’m hoping to come back to this aircraft, maybe when I finish my blenderguru project and possibly animate it.
Please let me know what you think, and what I could do in the future to fix any compositing or modeling mistakes in future projects.
