CG-Boost Magic Storybook Course Result

Hi!
Me and my partner (who was new to Blender) did the Magic Storybook course by Kevin Ramirez to learn Grease Pencil. This is the final animation of the village scene (Part 1 of the course) with a few personal touches and self-recorded nature sounds.

Very nice result! I bought it and have not got around to actually follow it  It looks just like in the trailer very nice job!

Thanks! It’s definitely a good introduction to the grease pencil features, and Kevin is a very good instructor. So, good luck and motivation to start the course!

I did follow some of his shorter tuts on youtube, I made this bike/cart https://www.instagram.com/p/C2vUcY7Okgq/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
but I really need to do the full tut to get this more lively look!

I like the bike car, it has a clean “illustration”-look, cool style!

Wow. It came out really good. Its a course that’s on my list of courses to do. So. It looks like, a mix of hand drawn and the grease pencil outline? Ohhhh! You can click on the top picture and there’s a video. Sorry. I’m new. Did you rig the bushes or maybe do something like Animall? I’m always scared of grease pencil in general the mesh conversions push a scene into the millions of verts. The results are nice though.

Thanks Kenzie! The bushes are not rigged, they are animated with the sculpt tools.
