They are basically rising their cut from 30% to 40% for most sellers. It’s weird move considering that other stores have now 12% cut (Fab, ArtStation Marketplace).
The justification I got on the e-mail is… ironic, to say it politely:

haha, cg trader is ‘funny’. The new royalty rates went in effect (tl;dr: most sellers will get -10% or less so around 60% now)… and on top of that they are adding ‘search boost’, i.e., pay to have your search ranking improved. And frame it as a mitigation to lower payouts. Ofc, it’s paid feature, so this is like ‘double squeeze’
